The Magic Fish (From September 2012)

Yesterday, I threw my fishing rod in the water and caught a fish. I didn’t eat it, of course, because I felt sorry for it. So I put it in a fish bowl and gave it a name. The next day O woke up and didn’t see him. Then I saw a little head sticking out behind a little stone: “Oh, there you are!” I cried “you like to hide, eh?” So we played hide and seek all day.

A Walk in the Woods!

I was walking in the forest about 7:00 o'clock in the evening when I heard an owl hoot from somewhere close and then I smelt the most dreadful smell, I had to keep my nose closed. Then I heard a rustle in the leaves and I went to investigate. I found out that it was a baby skunk. I took it with me and we sat on a tree trunk, we looked up and saw the beautiful shining moon lighting up the darkness. On a tree nearby we saw a little squirrel holding and acorn in its jaws, it came up to us and gave it to us, we were delighted. Then I started singing a song and lots and lots of animals, big and small, came rushing up. I'll tell you the types of animals that I saw. There were squirrels, rabbits, foxes, bears, sparrows and owls hooting. Then we all walked home. I forget to tell you that I took the baby skunk with me. I know, I know, it would have smelt if I hadn't thought of putting perfume on it every morning. Now the baby skunk which isn't a baby skunk anymore has left and I am sad because he was fun but don't worry, I'm going to the forest again at the weekend and maybe I'll find a new one, who knows I might even get a squirrel this time!
